Transportation Security Administration

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), a division of the Department of Homeland Security, operates the security checkpoint at Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport (RHI). All ticketed passengers over the age of 18 will need to show valid identification in order to travel. For a complete list of acceptable travel documents, please visit their website.

Travelers with disabilities, medical conditions, or other special circumstances which may require additional assistance during the security screening process are encouraged to contact TSA Customer Service before traveling. For those passengers holding TSA PreCheck, TSA PreCheck is available at the security checkpoint allowing those passengers quicker access through the process.

TSA liquids rule allow you to bring a quart-sized bag of liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in your carry-on bag and through the checkpoint. These are limited to 3.4 ounces) or less per item. Placing these items a clear, quart size bag and separating them from your carry-on baggage facilitates the screening process. Remember, 3-1-1.
